Daniel Radcliffe splashes out on £2.1million Manhattan penthouse

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has dipped into impressive fortune to secure a £2.1 million Manhattan penthouse (NOK 24.1 million) The star, who gained control of his finances after turning 18 back in July, has reportedly purchased a 1,843 sq ft luxury abode.

The well-appointed apartment is on the fifth floor of a 13 storey block, in New York's trendy SoHo district. It's a notable purchase for Radcliffe, who has so far preferred to spend his £23 million fortune on books and CDs. Designed by architect, Jean Nouvel, Daniel now has access to "hotel like" services at the new property.
